SAML 2.0 SSO
Review for basics on ChaosSearch and SAML 2.0 SSO integration.
Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) is an XML standard for exchanging authentication/authorization data between parties to specify an identity provider and a service provider.
Using the SAML model, ChaosSearch acts as the service provider and supports SAML 2.0 based SSO to authenticate users through different identity providers.
NOTE
Order of the setup instructions varies by the identity provider. Please contact ChaosSearch Customer Success if you encounter any problem while setting up SSO integration with your identity provider, or for any further assistance.
Review our identity provider partners for an overview of the requirements.
To enable SSO for authentication and how to configure and use our SSO solution, see Configure SAML Identity Provider-Initiated Single Sign-On. You can enable the Single Sign-On solution using any identity provider, even ones that are currently not one of our partners.
